We’re excited to announce that we are participating in #iGiveCatholic on #GivingTuesday, our nation’s first-ever Catholic day of giving! This year it will be Nov 30 from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM.
Every year OLPH holds a Pet Blessing in honor of St. Francis of Assisi. Students are asked to bring their pets to morning assembly. Looking around the crowd you see everything from box turtles to bunny rabbits as well as the traditional cats and dogs. The children are always so proud of their pets and as Father Kyle and Father Zachary bless them the smile on their face is priceless.
In a special ceremony Thursday, May 11 our 5th grade students had the honor of graduating D.A.R.E. Kevin Johnson with Plaquemine's Parish Sheriffs Office educated our students on the dangers of drugs and alcohol as well as making good choices.
In a ceremony on Tuesday, March 8th, OLPH third through seventh graders who achieved Beta and Alpha honor roll, were presented their certificates and recognized for their hard work.
