October is the month of the Holy Rosary. A Living Rosary provides a great opportunity to 
introduce young people to the devotion of praying the Rosary. OLPH students honor this with a large homeade rosary that takes up the entire altar. Each rosary bead is made of artificial flowers arranged in a ball. Rope attaches them all together. In addition, there is a large cuciix made of yellow flowers. It is a beautiful display of an important prayer tradition in the Catholic faith.
